Default Setting in OE tools dosen't work

I use WinXP and OE6.

When I go to Tools - Options - Compose and set my fonts for email, then open
a new email page, different fonts are there that I had put in Compose
settings. What must I do to get my fonts defaulted for new email?

No PA Bear. I do not use stationary. Should I? (Note: My earlier was
returned by the server when I clicked reply then send.

Tools | Options | Compose. Make sure nothing is checked or selected in the
Stationery section.
