Default Color format RGB vs CMYK -How do I change?

When I receive messages the included images can not be viewed because they
are sent JPG.
Article ID 246186 last review: March 7, 2006 has a resolution to this
problem by having the sender send the message using RGB color.format. (not
CMYK)

My question is how do you change the color formatting??

Thanks,
Arkietwo

Chances are that's not your problem. That's one possible cause of OE
not being able to display an image. But it would be a very rare cause.
Most programs don't produce CMYK images.

For some more likely causes:

- Red X instead of picture
http://www.fjsmjs.com/IE/redx.htm
- Images are blocked when you open an e-mail message in Outlook Express
SP2
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=843018
- If using XP SP2 and Tools, Options, Read, Read All Message In Plain
Text is selected, then attached images are not automatically displayed
at the bottom of the message. For a quick workaround for the current
message, press ALT+Shift+H
- OLEXP: Image May Not Appear in Message Sent with Outlook Express

- Some types of images don't display

He's also using this Spamfighter program, which is being reported to screw
up OE bigtime, so that could also be the problem.
