Hi,
Running Windows 98SE with IE6 and OE6, and I have all the MS updates, as well as Ad-Aware, and clean my system after every use. When I am surfing about the Internet, from time to time, I notice that the web pages continue to load even after I click the STOP radio button. In fact, some time, when I visit pages that have been cached (which I clean after every use and have set to NEVER), the pages continue to load and to end the effect I must terminate my connection and sign-on again. I hope there is a simple fix like an IE6 setting or REGISTRY modification that can eliminate this plague. Thanks in advance for your recommendations. BG |
