Creating hyperlinks
On previous occasions when I have wanted to create a hyperlink in an email
no problem has arisen. I simply highlight the text to use, press the hyperlink button and type in the appropiate URL in the box which appears. Until now this has worked perfectly but today, after I created a hyperlink and tried testing it in the preview tab before despatch, suddenly the program locks up and I have to Cntrl/Alt/Delete to back out. This happened repeatedly, using different URLs, and YES I have checked them carefully for typos each time! Can anyone suggest what the problem could be please? (One thought I had is maybe some of the recent patches coming in thick and fast from Microsoft have altered my settings in some way.) Any clues anybody?

Yep, no other problems with IE6 and no Spware detected with Spybot search &

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use. Thanks to those who offered advice on this problem. Hyperlinks are now
