On previous occasions when I have wanted to create a hyperlink in an email
no problem has arisen. I simply highlight the text to use, press the hyperlink button and type in the appropiate URL in the box which appears. Until now this has worked perfectly but today, after I created a hyperlink and tried testing it in the preview tab before despatch, suddenly the program locks up and I have to Cntrl/Alt/Delete to back out. This happened repeatedly, using different URLs, and YES I have checked them carefully for typos each time! Can anyone suggest what the problem could be please? (One thought I had is maybe some of the recent patches coming in thick and fast from Microsoft have altered my settings in some way.) Any clues anybody? |

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use. It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post your log to http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22, http://castlecops.com/forum67.html, http://forums.subratam.org/index.php?showforum=7, http://aumha.net/viewforum.php?f=30, or other appropriate forums for expert analysis, not here.** -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE, Shell/User, Security), Aumha.org VSOP, DTS-L.org Dumb Bunny wrote: Yep, no other problems with IE6 and no Spware detected with Spybot search & Destroy, Adaware, Syware Doctor or Spyware Blaster! Thanks to those who offered advice on this problem. Hyperlinks are now
working again! Can't explain why the program appears to have auto-corrected but am just pleased to have it going properly again! "Dumb Bunny" wrote in message ...
