Why all of sudden when I try to insert a graphic into an email, it sends it
as an attachment? When the receiver gets this email it is embedded as it
should be.
Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong and how to prevent this?

Are you using Insert | Picture? Not Insert | File Attachment?

What do you see in Sent Items?

Tools | Options | Send | HTML Settings. Is Send pictures with messages
checked? And, make sure you are using HTML.

Does the recipient see them embedded exactly where you put them, or *after*
the text of the message?

Hi Sandy,

It's hard to say exactly what is causing the issue. It is unlikely that
messages are being sent with the embedded graphic(s) as an attachment and
then somehow corrected at the receiving end. Are you viewing messages in
Plain Text? A simple thing to try (that may be interfering with the display
of graphics) is to clear Temporary Internet Files from Internet Explorer |
Tools | Internet Options or from the Internet Options Control Panel.
