Default File associations

When I try and open a PDF attachment i'm informed that the file doesnt have
a program associated with it and I should go and create an association.

The problem is that PDFs are already associated with Acrobat reader and will
open without a problem when doubled clicked in a regular folder.

Does anyone know why i'm having this problem just with Outlook Express? I'm
using Acrobat Reader 7.0 if that makes a difference.

Thanks

This applies to pps files, but I think you can adapt it to pdf.
