Since I upgraded to Norton Internet Security 2005, Outlook Express
Identity box keeps popping up.

I have several identities set up but always tend to use the same

one.
The box requires the password to be typed in. I have never had
"remember password" checked so it has always asked me for it when

I
launch OE. Now it's popping up and asking me all by itself several
times a day.

Have scanned my PC thoroughly for virus, spyware, adware.
Checked startup programs.
Checked NIS for any odd settings.
Checked no odd account in Outlook Express.
Checked Outlook Express accounts set to NOT check for mail.
Happenw whether NIS enabled or disabled.

Is there anything else I can check?

Does anyone know the cause?
*

I have the same problem and figured out a way to stop it

I also have Norton Internet Security 2005 installed and

the problem started after installation.

The fix for me was to open Norton Anti Spam click on configure then
Client Integration and uncheck the box
AntiSpam to import address.
This seems to of stopped it for me.
