I don't know who, or what, you are talking about. This is a newsgroup, not
spam central. Posting your address was absolutely the wrong thing to do.

Yes, but the OP probably doesn't realize that and thinks some list they
signed up for is here. Not unusual for newbies, and they panic when they
see the massive amount of mails some lists can send to them. And of course,
they never saved the instructions on how to unsub etc.

Nobody is "Sending" them, if you keep visiting the group you will keep
requesting and getting the messages - that's the whole point of having a
newsgroup. You probably have the account set up to send and receive
automatically.

http://www.tames.net/newsgroups.htm might help.

Unfortunately now you have posted your real email address in the newsgroup
your email account is probably doomed too, because spammers have software
that steals email addresses from newsgroups. You should use something like I
changed it to above unless you have some darned good spam filtering
software.
