I had backed up all of my OE6 accounts, mail, etc so I could wipe my OS
and free it of a virus and some especially tough adware that wouldn't go. But now that that bit of dirty work is done, can someone tell me how to re-install all those backed up files? Thanks. Ron |

Copy all the dbx files to a blank directory on the hard drive. Then clear
their read only attribute and then use File | Import | Messages in OE and point to that directory. steve "Ron" wrote in message oups.com... As Frank indicates, it won't import NGs. See also point 4 he
www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#4 for message recovery techniques. The account information is stored in the registry, so it won't import unless you backup and restore the registry information. steve "Ron" wrote in message ups.com...
