Default Leave mail on the server problem

Firstly i have tried creating a new identity and deleting the old one, but
still the problem arises. this is really causing me problems.

Any other suggestions please?

Problem:

I have a machine at home and 2 machines at work, both using outlook
express 6 one using windows xp and the other using windows 2000. The problem
I am getting is that the box under advanced in outlook express which says
leave on the server for XXX days keeps getting unchecked, which means if I
read my emails at home or on one of the machines at work, I cannot read the
emails on the main machine at work..

I find I am ticking this box every day and something keeps on unticking
it...?

I hope someone can help....

Regards,

Mark

What else is running in the background? Make sure antivirus scanning of
email is turned off. See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

Is this the third time you have posted this question?

Does leave a copy get unchecked on the main machine also?

What antispam and antivirus programs are you running?

Default Leave mail on the server problem

Hi again guys and thanks, Yes i am still posting due to my frustration.

The main machine is always unchecked as when the emails reach this machine i
do not need them anymore........

I was running Norton, my web tecky said for me to get rid of it as it may be
causing the problem. So we removed it.

I am now running Nod 32 with the same problem still..

Next answers if poss please

Thanks

Mark

Go to Start | Run and type msconfig and disable all startup items and non-MS
services. Then reboot. Then see if the problem continues. If not, then
its one of those startup items.

Norton is tricky to get rid of. You might make sure you got all of it.
