OE6 - Send/Recv
Hello,
I've had a problem with newsgroup messages and fixed it by cleaning and resetting the folders. This however created an other problem: OE does not connect and checking for mail automatically anymore. I have to click the Send/Recv button to receive mail. Appreciate any help to make OE connect and receive mail automatically. TIA.

Hi Charryl,
Have you checked the settings under Tools | Options | General tab - Send and Receive? I use a interval of 10 minutes. Also, under Account Properties, the box is checked for "Include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing" but OE will not connect/checking for mail automatically when starting up my computer (dial-up system). Hi Charryl,
I don't know much to suggest at this point. One observation: your PC would not be connected at startup for a mail send/receive. Do you desire OE to automatically dial a connection when started (with Windows)? This would require OE to automatically start at boot-up and then dial a connection. The dial-up connection would need to configured to allow this (it may already be). I do not have any experience with this, not allowing my PC to connect without my permission.
