I have OE 6 and Windows 2000 on a Dell computer. When I try to open a pdf
attachment, it opens in word pad, and is unintelligible. I have to first save the file in Adobe, then open Adobe and access the attachment there. It's a real pain! I assume I may have some type of association problem...any ideas on how I can fix this? Also, and this may be an associated problem, when I close a pdf document that has been accessed on the internet, I get an error message that Microsoft has encountered a problem and the browser must be closed. |

Save the PDF to your HDD. Right click on it and Open With. Select Adobe and
check the box to Always use this program to open this kind of file. In the future, the attachment should open correctly from OE. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Mark Schneiderman" wrote in message ... I have OE 6 and Windows 2000 on a Dell computer. Thanks for your quick response, Bruce. However, pardon my ignorance, but
what is my HDD?! "Bruce Hagen" wrote: Save the PDF to your HDD. Right click on it and Open With. Select Adobe and check the box to Always use this program to open this kind of file. HDD = Hard Drive Disk. Basically, just save a PDF attachment to any place
you wish. My Documents would be fine. Then continue as stated. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Mark Schneiderman" wrote in message ... Thanks for your quick response, Bruce.
