Hi there,

Whenever I open an email that has a few people on the CC list, all those
email addresses in the CC list are added automatically to my Outlook
Express address book.

I don't want this, so how can I prevent this from happening?

Open OE. Tools/Options/Send Tab and clear the box that says
Automatically put people I reply to in my Address Book.

This is a new "feature" of SP2.

Alias

If the addresses are added to your address book just by opening the
message, that's being done by your anti-spam software or some other type
of protective software you have installed.

If the addresses are being added when you reply to the message, go to
Tools Options Send tab remove the checkmark from 'Automatically
put people I reply to in my address book'.
