Hi. I installed Trend's free AntiSpam Pilot for OEX and it is really
neat. But it somehow affects moving from folder to folder. When I switch from Inbox to Sent or Delete, etc. it switches, but leaves behind a small portion of the previous window. What ever operation your performing will go on but pretty slowly. Anyone try this utility and have any problems? Thanks. deango |

Few, if any anti-spam applications play nice with OE, deango.

Hi Antioch.
Yes, Earthlink has a big anti-spam program but it kicks to many real messages into 'suspect' or deletes them completely even set at 'Medium'. Also everyone in my address book has to be 'accepted' by Earthlink the first time they contact me and it is annoying to say the least. I also dislike the ads and marketing ploys. I finally opted for 'earthlinkmanual' which just get me online and I can use the Email or whatever from there if I want to. Thanks. deango antioch wrote: Check with your ISP and see if they have an antispam service for their customers - mine does. Rgds Antioch |

Rgds Antioch Well at least your ISP provides the service - and it sounds as if it is a strong antispam one. It took me a while to set mine up - but I get seven days rotation to check for any genuine emails caught in my mail box. Yes I get the online gaming stuff etc etc - its funny how their own pop-up stopper will not stop the ISP's :-) I would stick with it - unless it costs less to use some other prog. Rgds Antioch |
