I'm using Win XP and OE 6.

Awhile back someone gave me a tip for saving Email attachments to the same
hard disk folder every time. I don't remember where I got the tip. I'm not
even sure if it came from this forum.

It may have entailed modification of the registry. I'm not sure.

If any of you guys know of such a tip, I would appreciate getting it again.

Your OE is way out of date. For that matter so is your Windows XP. You
are still on SP1. You need to update.

There was a bug in OE where it didn't properly remember the save to
folder. If you get up-to-date, the bug is fixed.

There is a workaround for SP1 that involves a modifying the registry.

Set the "Save Attachment" Default in OE (Line 242)
