Several months ago I lost the source code highlighting, (View: Source Edit).
Many hours of web searching yielded no explanation or way to correct this so I had to live with it. Last night the highlighting was back on, for about 15 minutes, then was gone again. This kind of a tease is unbelievably frustrating. Would you know what could be causing the colors to disappear and how to correct it -- permanently. I have checked the registry and verified that 'Show Source Edit Color' is enabled. My OS is XP Home, SP2 and Notepad is my default HTML editor. If this is not the forum for this question please point me to the right one. Thanks! Bill |

Asked/Answered in microsoft.public.ch.outlookexpress newsgroup:
QP Are you referring to View Source Edit in an Outlook Express message? If so, are you referring to a Plain Text or HTML message? /QP If you must make identical posts to multiple newsgroups, please cross-post one (1) message to all of them. Thank you. I don't think there is much you can do to fix it. That feature was always a
bit flaky and they have removed it from Windows Mail in Vista (the source window is still there, but the colors are gone). steve "Bill Whitaker" wrote in message ...
