Well, I do agree about McAfee! As for Norton, I've had pretty good luck at least until they started with "activation." I was running NIS 2003 and figured it was time to upgrade. Think I was wrong. :-( And my antispam finally bit the dust (GIANT company that MS bought out and promised to keep updateable), but that time has apparently lapsed, so I took it off. That left me without a configurable antispam program. Try Thunderbird that has a built-in anti-spam program: http://www.mozilla.com/thunderbird Alias And of course my win2k is pretty old in that the Pentium processor is "only" 600mHz. I probably wouldn't notice the hit on a much faster machine. --Bill |
