I have always set up folders for regular incoming messages, and may do
that in "Create" or right click on a message in my In Folder, and select Move To Folder, and off it goes. Now, that no longer works. A message I receive is "The selected message(s) cannot be moved. An error has occurred." What on earth is this about? I have XP Pro, a new HP Invent business computer, run Ad-Aware, Spyblaster, AVG daily with new updates, and run Utilities weekly in Safe Mode. If I suspect a problem, I run the former in Safe Mode, as well. The OE Folders are also compressed daily (all of them). Thank you for your help. -- "Always remember Governor Ann Richards—one of only a handful of Great Americans I have known (copyright C. Thompson 15 September 2006)." |

Your message store may be corrupt. Try going to File | Identities and set
up a new Identity. Then use File | Import | Messages to get the messages from the older Identity and then see if that works. Also make sure you antivirus is not set to scan email. see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 With AVG you may need to uninstall it, and then reinstall it and disable the email scanning option when doing so. steve "Pappion" wrote in message ...
