Default Outlook Express does notshow as the default

Hi,

I had MS Outlook installed and Outlook Express was uninstalled or disabled
automatically.
I uninstalled Outlook and then installed Express from Microsoft's site.
But now when I try to use a link from an internet page that would normally
open Outlook Express
a window pops-up to choose the profile. In the dropdown box only MS Outlook
appears, and practically I cannot use it.
So no link can activate the e-mail.

Thanks
