everytime we close out of outlook express and go back into outlook express,
the field Incoming Mail (pop3) that is supposed to be pop8.sympatico.ca has been changed to this number 127.0.0.1. I change it back to pop8.sympatico.ca and it will work, but I have to do this each time!! |

This is usually caused by scanning e-mail, or an anti-spam program.
Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that eats up CPUs and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes.
