Error at "Check for new messages on Hotmail"
i have also just recently had this problem, it only happens however when i
first open outlook. if i click on send/receive i dont get the message. i even deleted the account and then reentered it. laurie "Higgy" wrote: Since yesterday, I have a problem. Whenever I do a "Receive All", there is a red "X" instead of a green checkmark next to the task "Check for new messages on Hotmail" and the Status shows "Failed". Since there is a supposed error, I click on the "Errors" tab, but nothing is shown there, no error message at all. The task "Download all messages from Inbox" always shows the green checkmark. The messages are downloaded fine, so this is nothing major, but I would still like to know why this started happening. Thanks for any help...
