Default password problems

Hi all

I have tried everything to fix this problem. To date I havent been able
to use OE for over three months which is a real pain. Everytime I try to log
on to OE it ask for my email and password. Even though password and email
are saved and I click ok to start using it and it goes into a repetative
cycle of asking for my info. Then when I click on cancel it says error
please erenter your username and password. But my info has always been
correct.......How do I fix this or uninstall it and put it back. Also I just
installed the new IE7 I assume the full version which just came out so I am
up to date.......

I would delete the identity via the registry since you can't get in to OE
and then create a new one. Backup everything you can first:

Backup & Resto
http://www.insideoutlookexpress.com/backup/

Navigate to the key for the identity you are having problems with

1.. In Regedit, navigate to this key:

|--HKEY_CURRENT_USER
|-----Identities
|--------{GUID}

Delete the GUID for the problem identity and restart your computer. You
should be able to open OE and set up a new identity now as per the settings
your ISP provides.

So have you actually used the webmail interface, if available, to your
e-mail account to make sure what you are entering now actually works
for login credentials? Make sure you can login using the SAME login
credentials (username and password) using the webmail interface (and
Comcast has their webmail page where you can check).
