Default Outlook address book to Outlook Express address book

After a crash I managed to get my Outlook address book onto my new PC. I
want to use Outlook Express for my mail. How do I make the address books
synchronize?

Is Outlook installed?
In OE's Address Book click Tools | Options. There should be an option there
to share.

Hi Anny,

It may be necessary to export (as a file -- comma-separated values -
Windows) your Outlook Contacts. This (*.csv) file would then be used to
import (other address book) into Outlook Express. This would probably be the
best method if you don't plan to use Outlook.

Sharing is not officially supported in newer versions of OE. However, a
registry edit might accomplish what you're trying to do.
