I have never had any trouble using the links I receive in e-mails until the
last few days. Now, the links in e-mails I receive through Outlook Express 6.0 have stopped working. When I move the cursor onto the link the cursor arrow becomes a hand and the Internet address for the link shows at the bottom of the screen, but when I click or double click the mouse, nothing happens. It doesn’t make any difference whether I’ve opened the Internet browser beforehand or not. I have been using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 as my browser, and updating to the 7.0 version has not helped. If I go on the Internet to my e-mail server directly and open the same e-mails, all the links work fine. But not through Outlook Express. Other than using my Microsoft Office disk and reinstalling Outlook Express does anyone have suggestions as to how to correct this problem? -- garyinfv |
