Clicking Red X to close Outlook Express takes about 10 seconds before OE to
close. Can this be speeded up?. Didn't happen before today. TIA.

Hi SD,

You could try some routine maintenance -- if you haven't already.

Clear the Deleted Items folder
Then, while in Offline mode, Compact All Folders (under File | Folder)
Do not do anything while the compacting process is being done.

Be sure your mail folders have not become too full. It is not wise to store
messages in the default folders, especially, for a long period. Corruption
can lead to loss of messages. Compacting will help reduce the size of the OE
message store folder files by reclaiming space after messages have been
deleted.
