Default not able to identify the attachment

hi,

In my Pc i am usig win98se with office XP with proper update an d
having norton antivirus corporate edition (clint) edition. In
microsoft outlook in 10 % case i am not able to identify the file type
in the in comming mail attachment.

what can i do , is there prob. with the software setting ?

Default not able to identify the attachment

Go to File | Save Attachments and then save the file and then you can figure
out the file extension.

Email scanning and antispam should be turned off in Norton. See points 2
and 3 he www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx
