My problem is with a temp\wer5ab9.dir00\msimn.exe.mdmp and a
wer5ab9.dir00\appcomat.txt in my temp files. Or that is what the error page is showing. It is not a .dbx file to my knowledge. Also the directions you gave are fine but im useing IE7 now and the folders are differant. I just bought Bug doctor and that couldnt fix problem. -- Dell XPS 600 Pent D 830 Dual Core(3.0Ghz,800FSB) XP Media Center 2005 2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM 533 MHZ-4 DIMMs 500 Gb RAID O nVidia GeForce 6800 48x CD-RW + 16xDVD+/-RW Sound Blaster X-Fi "Michael Santovec" wrote: OE won't even start http://www.insideoe.com/problems/per...ce.htm#nostart -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Aleatha" wrote in message ... Did you set Windows Explorer to show hidden files and folders? In Start | Search click All files and Folders and then click More advanced options. In Windows Explorer click Tools } Folder Options | View | Show hidden files and folders. Is this the Web site you went to? http://www.insideoe.com/problems/errors.htm#crash -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM http://www.fjsmjs.com Answer in newsgroup. Don't send mail. |

Those are debugging files and not the real cause of your problem.
Crashes in OE usually are caused by corrupted data files in OE. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Aleatha" wrote in message ...
