From various applications I have gotten error messages that indicate that
OE
is not my default mail service.
I have searched forums and run against two walls:
1. I go to OEToolsOptionsDefault Messaging Programs - I see the
statement "This application is NOT the default mail handler". I can click
on the button that says "Make Default" and the statement changes to "This
application is the default mail handler." I have tried pressing OK,
Apply,
and both, but when I go back in, it still says "This application is NOT
the
default mail handler".
2. I go to Internet ExplorerToolsInternet OptionsPrograms and the only
option I have for email is Microsoft Outlook. (For newsgroups I have two
options, Outlook Express and Microsoft Outlook)
Sorry for the rambling but can someone help me? Thanks
Shirley
