One thing that's changed since I installed the new IE7, is that when I press
Send/Receive in Outlook Express, sending messages with the connection Local Area Network (as used for my normal email accounts) is not acceptable. I have to set it to my mail account connection, Any Available _or_ remove the tick from Always connect to (etc) (under Tools Acounts Internet Accounts Connection). Can this be altered so that I use Local Area Network (connection) for all? Per. |

For most users OE works best if the "always connect using" option is cleared on all accounts so that OE uses whatever open connection it finds. -- Tom Koch, former MVP for IE/Outlook Express 1997-2005 http://www.insideoe.com Awareness is free. |

Hi, Tom.
No, I don't particularly need it to be set up like that. It _was_ and has changed after the arrival of IE7, which was why I asked. Per. "Per Odegaard G0DJT" wrote in message ... I don't know how installing IE7 would have changed settings in OE, but I can
imagine that changes to authentication in IE7 might make "always connect using LAN" behave differently. I don't really follow IE development so I can't say for sure.
