won't start at all now

Is it ok now that I have moved the files? when I moved the files did all of my contact information, and folders with my email stay within them? I am really frustrated, having spent all day on this.......I should have never listended to the person who told me to upgrade my computer, I had been using it like this for 3 and a half years.......this really sucks

Did you do the malware checks before the upgrade? When you moved the DBX files you just moved the messages, not contacts. Each of your folders had a DBX file with its messages. Folders.dbx was used by OE to keep track of them. If you moved Folders.dbx with the others you should be able to use OE's File | Import to recover them. What happens when you try to import?
