Hi again Steve,
I just re-checked the IE and OE default and they stayed as I changed them in the Microsoft, but in the Custom they do not stay in IE and OE default, after I click OK the change scan takes place but when I go check that Custom, the IE and OE check I made are returned to the other "default settings". I don't know if this will help you. Thanks again. Bebb "Steve Cochran" wrote: Go to Control Panel | Add / Remove Programs | Set Program Access and Defaults and set IE and OE default and see if that fixes it. steve "Bebb" wrote in message ... In an auto Windows Updates IE 7 was installed, not good, un-installed IE 7, now in my OE when I want to change the color of the fonts when I write an e-mail and right click and Fonts I get this message: "An error occured in this dialog. Error 501 Permission denied." I just installed the new Windows Auto Updates, minus IE 7 and I still get this 501 error. What can I do to fix this problem. Thank you for your time. |
