hotmail account. the sent e-mails get lost in the system, the addressee does not receive the mail and I do not get an error message back. I am running MacAfee security on the PC. Any ideas? |

If neither sender is getting an error message, the e-mails are likely
get trapped by spam filters. The Hotmail recipient will need to check their Junk folder for mails from you. MSN Hotmail Top Issues and Support Information http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=316659 For messages that you should be receiving, check with your ISP to see if they are doing any spam filtering. If they offer a web mail interface check that for a spam/junk/trash/bulk folder to see if the messages from Hotmail are ending up there. Or if you are running any anti-spam software check that. As for in OE, there are 2 ways for an incoming message to automatically end up in the Outlook Express Deleted Items folder: - It matches one of the entries on your Blocked Senders list (Tools, Message Rules, Blocked Senders List) - It matches one of your Message Rules with an action of "Delete" or "Move to Deleted Items folder" (Tools, Message Rules, Mail) You might be inadvertently be blocking messages from Hotmail. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Cook" wrote in message ...
