Is it true that there will be no OE7??????

No OE7. The next OS, Windows Vista, will incorporate a new mail program
named Windows Mail. Much like OE, but more sturdy, it will not be available
for any older OS, including XP.

OE6 will be supported as long as XP is, but while bugs and security updates
will be available, no significant improvements will ever be made to OE6.

Since Vista isn't out for general release yet, and XP is not that old, I
don't think you have a major worry on your hands. I'll be around here for
the foreseeable future, as will many others.
