Well my problem is that is not what is happening. The reply seems to
pick arbitrarily an address to reply to. The example I gave was of 2 emails from the same person to the same account which, when replied to, used different From: addresses. Strange, but true. As an example I received 2 emails from the same person a week apart. If I Reply to one, the From: address is the default; if I Reply to the other, the From: address is the non-default address. Any help to make the From: address consistent, predictable, and configurable would be appreciated. |

If the two accounts are actually aliases for the same mailbox on the server, OE will reply from whichever account downloaded the message, which may not be the account that it was addressed to.
