Hello,
I don´t find a reason to the following: When i want to attach a file on an email , i click on attach icon, and when i double click on a direct access, it doesn´t open the folder, instead adds the *.lnk file to the email. I´ve tried on several machines and all did the same thing. It works this way or is same configuration i am missing? Thanks, it´s silly ,i know, but i want to know. |

Hi,
I also tried on a Windows 200 machine, and It works fine, if you double click on the direct access it opens the folder. The computer that I am working with is a Windows XP SP2. What can it be? You've run across a quirk of OE in Windows XP. You can't follow a
shortcut (LNK) to a folder in the attach file dialog. It attaches the link instead, which is worthless. For a workaround instead of using Insert, File Attachment open the folder in Windows Explorer and navigate to the desired folder. Then drag-and-drop the desired files to the message composition window. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Claudio" wrote in message ...
