I keep getting I.E. script error box in some emails.
I have deselected all script error lines in tools/Internet options/advanced/ and the error box still comes up. I have tried various selections on the script lines to no solution. I use WIN XP SP., I.E. 6.0 and OE 6.0. Any more thoughts on this would be appreciated. bill |

There are more than one which you didn't post. Maybe it's this one?
Internet Explorer Script Error. Line: 1344 Char: 1 Error: Unspecified error Code: 0 URL: roes//C:\windows\system32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg Go to Start | Run and type, (or copy/paste): regsvr32 ole32.dll Press Enter. And: In OE go to: Tools | Options | Security and set OE to the Restricted Zone. That should remove active scripting and do away with the error messages. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "bill" wrote in message ... I keep getting I.E. script error box in some emails. I have always had my OE set to the Restricted Zone and have been able to do
whatever I want, so I don't think you'll see a problem. Just remember you made that change if something does not work as it used to. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "bill" wrote in message ... tks a big time Bruce. Restricted zone is default in all installations now, so I don't know
anything that could have changed it except if the user did it manually at some point, as I do whenever I do an install. steve "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ...
