Default Toolbar in OE6 doesn't work!

I don't know what happened, but I suddenly can't do ANY actions from the
toolbar in my OE6.
Anyone have ideas on how I can fix that?
Thanks in advance.

Back so soon? grin Oh, new computers.

You may have a damaged identity especially if it is the default Main
Identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and test it.
If all is well, you can import your messages and Address Book from the old
identity and delete it.

How to Create and Use Identities in Outlook Express

And yes. This can happen even with a new computer. The Main Identity has
more registry entries and is prone to corruption. I always set up new
identities after a reinstall or getting a new computer.

Ggrrr!!!!!
OK, the new identity was easy enough, but how do I import from one identity
to another? It just seems to talk about "moving" or "sharing".
Sorry, but I'm afraid my ADHD is making me a little anal about this.
You have been a great help. I hope you can be again.
Thanks,
Candy

Glad to help, (when I can).

For your messages:

In the new identity: File | Import | Messages. Select Microsoft Outlook
Express 6 and Import from the old identity.

For your Address Book:

Open the Address Book in the old identity and File | Export | Address Book
(wab) to any place on your HDD that is easy for you. My Documents is fine.
Then, open the Address Book in the new identity and File | Import | Address
Book (wab) and point to where you saved it.

I actually got that "fingered-out" before I saw your post. What I still
can't figure out a short way around is importing all my email account
settings. Is there any way to do that?

Thanks,
Candy

Tools | Accounts | Mail | Export. Like the AB, Export it to any place
convenient. In the new ID, Tools | Accounts | Mail and Import from where you
saved the settings.
