Default Where is the account info (server names)?

I am trying to help a friend. They had outlook express with allnet and
have no idea about the server names. I can't find a source of info from
allnet but I do have the hard drive and wonder if that info is somewhere
on it. I can't start up OE with this hard drive. But is the server names
hidden somewhere in one of the files on the hard drive? Can I substitutive
those files into another setup to extract the server names. They know
their email address and password. All I need to finish setting this up
is the server names.

Thanks

The servers names are in the registry. You mention that you have the
hard drive. I suspect you've set it up as a slave. In that case, since
you can't boot from the drive you'd need a special utility to access the
registry.

It will probably be less work getting the info from the ISP.

Or if we knew that the OS was NTx regedit (or regedt32)
load hive command could be used.

But not as much fun. ; )
