I recently installed Microsoft Office Power Point Viewer 2003. The only way
I can open the Power point file within an e_mail, is to first copy it to a folder on my hard drive, and then click on it. I would expect to be able to launch directly from Outlook Express. Is this the way it is supposed to work or is there a fix to launch directly from Outlook Express? When I click in the PP file in Outlook Express, I get the "Mail Attachment Window", asking "Do you want to open this file?" When I click "yes" the message "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options Control Panel" appears. --- Doesn't the association exist if I can open the file outside of Outlook Express? I am using XP/SP2, IE_6, Office 2000 Small Business, and Outlook Express. Thanks, Frank T. |
