Default Import Blocked senders into OE6

Hi,
I'm a newby in here so be gentle please.
I have successfully imported my 'rules' into OE6, however when I attempt to
import my 'blocked senders list' by the same methodology It doesn't seem to
work. The list seems to get into the registry but doesn't appear in OE. What
obvious thing have I failed to do or done wrong?
TIA Geoff

Import to where? A new identity? This would have been the best way to go
from the start. See if you still can.

Thanks BRUCE.

Indirectly yes.
Perhaps I should've given some more information!!
I managed to kill my XP installation, so effectively that a repair didn't.
Before doing a clean install I copied my NTUSER.DAT somewhere relatively
safe, thinking I could recover to precrash by copying it back after reformat
and reinstall. Unfortunately forgot my desktop, but that's a different
problem. Message store, program files and personal data are all in different
partitions or on different physical drives, So mainly I needed to recover
settings ect. ie mail rules and the like. Post reinstall, I discovered I
couldn't simply copy back the NTUSER.dat. Solved that by booting to a '98
install floppy and moving it from there. Reboot and exported mail rules from
registry, edited the resultant file replacing the Identity ID (GUID?) with
what I think was the new one, reverse .DAT procedure, reboot and
merge edited .reg into the newer registry. import message store and all
(most) of the rules are there and seemingly pointing to the right places.
Not so the blocked senders, forgot them! Do it all again, this time with
blocked senders. But doesn't worker proper.
That's where I am. It is a new Identity, because I forgot to recreate myself
before starting the recovery exercise. Anticipate redoing that when I
discover what I did wrong this time. Hopefully I will be able to do that
without resorting to the saved NTUSER.DAT!

I have a sneaking suspicion I've been too clever by half for my own good.
Think I'm going to repeat the whole exercise but exporting the whole
identity instead of the induhvidual bits, as per 'partial backup', possibly
rekindling myself in the process.

Exporting the entire identity would be the best option.

Tried that...unsuccessful, not sure it was any different/better than before
except that now I have my own identity with everything except 'blocked
senders'!
Gonna try something else first. manually insert a blocked sender, and see
what turns up in my registry! Probably make all the others look like that.
