Default Hotmail to Outlook

Could someone please let me know how to get my Hotmail to Outlook Express. I
can not open my Hotmail this morning and need to read my messages.
Best wishes.

Unless you paid for a premium Hotmail, you can't receive Hotmail in
Outlook Express. I suggest you use the web interface to read your
emails. If you did pay for premium Hotmail, there should be instructions
on hotmail.com on how to configure Outlook Express for Hotmail.

Or you have a free "grandfathered" Hotmail account, i.e. one old enough
(can't remember when) for M/S to have allowed OE access to it.

Post any error messages you're receiving in their entirety.

OT: Your headers tell us that the machine is running outdated and much less
secure versions of OE, IE, and Windows XP. Check in at Windows Update ASAP,
then enable Automatic Updates.

You are using the clunky Web Interface to post so we have no idea what OS
you are running, and if it is up-to-date, unless you tell us.

The OP is using Outlook Express, (IMHO a much better choice), as his
newsreader. Checking the message headers are the same as in an e-mail.

The OP's headers a

X-Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2180
X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2900.2180

If he was fully updated, they would read:

X-Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.3028
X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2900.3028

Those are mine, free for you to see. There is no snooping going on.

Thank you, Bruce. I was just curious whether Robear was referring to
something other than MIME headers.

From the approximate vicinity of Wilmslow, UK is all that your post reveals.
You must be a masochist to continue using the web discussion interface when
using Outlook Express provides a much richer user experience.
