I can't figure out where to find the "Out of Office" message I would want
senders to see when I'll be out of the offcie for a week or so. Is there such a message on Outlook Express? -- Steve Fisher |

If you do this, you will have to leave your computer on 24/7, be connected
to the internet, and have OE open. If you want do this anyway, the link below will explain how to do it. One thing I would suggest is that where it says to create a rule and check For All Messages, you change it and make the rule for people in your address book only. Otherwise you will be replying to Spam as well. Your ISP may offer this service which would be a better choice. http://www.cyberwalker.com/columns/feb01/080201.html -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Stephen Fisher" wrote in message ... re "One thing I would suggest is that where it says to create a rule and

I've always been hesitant to leave my computer on 24/7, so I just email those who frequently email me and advise them of my plans, in advance. Once when my OE crashed, my DSL company replied with a notice for my most frequent incoming senders, and I requested they "phone, if its important" due to the nature of my work--I knew anyone who needed me, knew my phone number. ;-)) "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ...
