This problem has only just occurred, when I click on send/receive box on OE
6, starts to receive e-mail then stops, receiving messages 20 of 100,
doesn't finish downloading, I have contacted my ISP but they are useless.

Can anyone help

Ian

Did you upgrade to IE7 by any chance?

If your ISP provides web access to your Inbox at the server, use it to see
if you have a large message that may be "stuck" in your Inbox at the server
and delete it, then see if you can download the remaining mail into Outlook
Express. Also some, antivirus and antispam programs can cause this problem
so make sure that you do not have any email scanning be either type of
program going on. Your antivirus will still protect you with its active
scanning without the need for email scanning.
