If using IE7:
Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | Set Program Access and Defaults | Browser: IE /must/ be chosen here if you're running IE7 and want such links to work. For IE6 & 7, If still no joy: From: http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/nolinks.htm If nothing happens when you click a link: Open Windows Explorer, or the Control Panel. Go to Tools | Folder Options | File Types. Scroll down to [NONE] URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol (NOT URL:Internet Shortcut) and select it. Click Edit or Advanced, depending on your Windows version. Select 'open'. Click Edit. "Application used to perform this action" should read: "C:\PROGRAM FILES\INTERNET EXPLORER\iexplore.exe" -nohome (Check the path to iexplore.exe to make sure that is correct and use the double quotes.) DDE should be checked and in the boxes below it you should have: #1: "%1",,-1,0,,,, #2 IExplore #3 (blank) #4 WWW_OpenURL URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol with Privacy should be the same. Sometimes it is necessary to uncheck Use DDE. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Chas" wrote in message ... Thank you Bruce Hagen. I applied exactly what you sent. Found I had Mozilla
remanents in those fields, as I had recently deleted that download from my computer. Now all my hyperlinks will open... Thanks again for the accurate and rapid response. -- Chas "Bruce Hagen" wrote: If using IE7: Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | Set Program Access and Defaults | Browser: IE /must/ be chosen here if you're running IE7 and want such links to work. You're welcome. Mozilla tends to leave a few crumbs around even after it's
deleted. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Chas" wrote in message ... Thank you Bruce Hagen. I applied exactly what you sent. I've just noticed that with my OE 6.00+++. I hit Ctrl and click on the link,
and its often open on my task bar but just doesn't pop up. Don't know what else I can do. I'll watch this thread. "Chas" wrote in message ... This threads over, Pappion. Your problem is different.
Right click on the minimized page on the Taskbar and select Move. Now use the arrow keys to get it in the screen. Close all other windows except this one and use the cursor to drag the page to full screen size. File | Exit, and Windows should remember the size when you click on a link again. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Pappion" wrote in message ... Before you even do what I suggested, what happens if you click on a link
without holding down the Ctrl key? That is what is causing it to be minimized to the toolbar. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ...
