Easiest is just to create a new Windows Explorer folder and call it "Sent
Items" and save it on your Desktop. Now open Outlook Express and resize it so it only takes up half the window. Open the Windows Explorer folder "Sent Items" and resize it so it takes up the other half. Now go to Sent Items in Outlook Express and press Ctrl+A to select all the messages, and drag/drop them into the Windows Explorer folder. You can now save that Explorer folder, copy it to a CD, transfer it to any system and each time you wish to read a message, just double click it and it will open in Outlook Express. The entire process should take about 1 or 2 minutes. -- Jim Pickering, MVP/Windows Mail applications Please reply ONLY to newsgroup. "webster72n" wrote in message ... Sorry for making myself not clear enough, Bruce. I would like to save my 'Sent items' and an entire created New Folder' with its subfolders, if that's possible. Harry. "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ... If you want to save your account settings for Copper.net: Tools | Accounts | Mail | Export. But these settings will mean nothing if you cancel your account with Cooper. Or am I misunderstanding what you want to save? The server settings for PeoplePC will be different. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "webster72n" wrote in message ... Currently I have Copper.Net, which incorporates OE in it's mail system. Changing to PeoplePC will involve a change in the setup for OE6 and, in my opinion, a loss of the current account. Is there an easy way to save this information and transfer it to the new account? Harry. |
