I use WinXP with OE6.
Lately, after I use a Bible online, and close it, Outlook Express will not open. When I restart my computer, OE will open. What can I do to remedy this irregular behavior? -- Sincerely, Jack Nation |

By the online Bible do you mean a web site accessed via Internet
Explorer (IE)? Or are you running some software to access the bible? How do you close the online bible? Do you close IE or something else? Do you have any problems using IE after closing the bible? Do you get any error message when you try to open Outlook Express (OE)? If you open OE before closing the online Bible, does it work OK? -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Jack Nation" wrote in message ... I use WinXP with OE6. One reply to my post from Steve Cochran and one reply from Michael Santovec.
Neither of them with any help at all. With two replies already, I will unlikely get any real honest help. Why does this happen in this newsgroup? -- Sincerely, Jack Nation "Steve Cochran" wrote in message ... I'm not touching this one. VBG steve "Michael Santovec" wrote in message ... Michael asked you five legitimate questions to try to narrow down the
problem, but you chose to ignore his queries. If you don't respond to a reply where someone is trying to help you, you will never get any good help. Answer his questions and when he is around today, he may have an idea to help you. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Jack Nation" wrote in message ... We can't help you until we understand the problem. Your original
description is too vague, much like saying my car won't run on Tuesdays. Off hand, there's no reason using any online program should prevent OE from starting. So we need more information to determine what's really going on. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Jack Nation" wrote in message ... Bruce, have you checked Michael's questions against my original input, which
shows he didn't pay close attention? The info he asked was adequately described in my input. -- Sincerely, Jack Nation "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ... Thanks. However, a local technician just read my problem description and
fixed it for me. I'm sorry if I offended you. -- Sincerely, Jack Nation "Michael Santovec" wrote in message ... We can't help you until we understand the problem. Well, if you don't want to give more explicit information, you are just
going to have to live with the problem. I read your OP and it doesn't give me enough to even guess at an answer. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Jack Nation" wrote in message ...
