![]() " mac" wrote in message ... "Jean" wrote in message ... My brother is running a computer with XP HE SP2, fully updated. In OE6, despite being set to receive and send mail in HTML format, the messages are displayed in plain text; however, when clicking on 'reply', the messages then revert to HTML. Re-setting via OE's options makes no difference - it will not retain the setting, and pressing alt+shift+H, only works for the message which is displayed at the time. He had OE Quotefix installed, we uninstalled it to see if that was the cause, but to no avail - it's just the same. Is there a fix or tweak available, please? Thank you, Jean OEtoolsoptionsRead tab, remove the checkmark from read all in plain textapply/OK. -- Regards Steve. MS-MVP. OE. [DTS] http://www.getsafeonline.org/ Steve, These settings are already in place. Didn't OE used to be in the add/remove programs list with a repair option? It doesn't appear there now. Thanks. Jean |
