I am using the above programme to back up in particular my emails and
address book, however when I did my back up I noticed it saved a load of
stuff from newsgroups I had visited and even ones that are not on my current
list of newsgroups.
How do I set it to back up only email and address book, I think it may do
address book automatically anyway.
I cant seem to work this out.

Help please.

I don't think it has that option. Its an all or nothing backup I think.

You can do that and then just manually backup the mail folders by copying
them.

The Newsgroups are still contained in DBX file in your mail store root
('C:\Documents andSettings\[username here]\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{UserString Here}\Microsoft\Outlook Express)

You can delete the newsgroups one

Me personally being a programmer have written my very own E-mail Backup
Program to suit my own needs therefore I have more control over everything.
No, its not for release to anyone other than myself - sorry!!

If you know of a programmer then ask them to create achecked list box
application which will give you complete control over the DBX files you wish
to backup.
