Default red x instead of pictures

When receiving some email the pictures come through with an red x on them
instead fo the picture. Also when I sent pictures they are sent to the
person with an red x and cannot be opened. what am I doing wrong. I also
do not have spell check on my OE and when I download majorgeeks site it is
recommended not to run the program because it can not be verified.

If the pictures display OK in some messages, but you get the Red X in
others, it's likely a problem at the sender's end.

As for you having a problem sending pictures to others, look at Tools,
Options, Send, Mail, HTML Settings and make sure the Send Pictures is
checked. If the people that you have problems getting pictures from
also use OE, that's likely the problem on their end as well.

The spell checker from majorgeeks should be safe. Select the option to
save rather than open the file from the web site. Then tell your
anti-virus program to do a virus scan on it (typically Right click the
saved program and you'll see the virus scan option.) If that comes as
clean, then install it.

Since I have had this new laptop, every time I send out a new email it asks
me to put in my password. I did not have to do this on my Dell. I can't
find anywhere to have it automatically put it in.

Thank you all for responding to the red x's on my pc and also spell check.

does anyone know why your email sends back a message saying that your mail
was undeliverable to a person that isn't even in your mailbox!!!!

For the password see: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290684/en-us

Some spam fakes the email address and so you probably got a message kicked
back from another message that faked your email address. Happens all the
time. just ignore it.
