By default, OE automatically displays attached graphics /after/ the message
text body. You can change how you view incoming messages, but not how a recipient will see it. To prevent attached graphics to be viewed automatically in messages you /receive/ after the message body, see: http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/slideshow.htm -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "June" wrote in message ... Is this in messages that you receive or messages that you are sending?
If messages that you are sending, the recipient's mail program and settings control whether or not photos are displayed with the message. If messages that you receive, besides the change that Bruce mentioned, in Windows XP SP2 or Windows 2003 SP1, when Tools, Options, Read, Read All Message In Plain Text is selected, that also stops the display of images. (For a quick workaround for the current message, press ALT+Shift+H) I don't know what you mean by the "Text only button (on)". -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "June" wrote in message ...
